This special piece is felted by hand in a town very close to Derya's hometown in Turkey. We were amazed to see them making these capes by sprinkling wool on a scarf, heating it up and pounding it to make the felt and then trimming it to shape.
There are no sleeves; this cape sits on the shoulders. Some find the felt itchy on naked skin, so many of our customers wear this over something else.
This is not a vegan product, the felt is made from real sheep's wool.
