This special piece is felted by hand in a town very close to Derya's hometown in Turkey. We were amazed to see them making these capes by sprinkling wool on a round piece of cotton fabric, heating it up and pounding it to make the felt and then trimming it to shape.
There are no sleeves, but two armholes.
Think of this piece as a round cotton fabric (the black and white zig-zag) with two holes for the arms off-center. It is felted completely on one side and on all edges, including the armholes
The fact that the armholes are off-center lets you wear it in two ways; longer with less fabric over the shoulders or shorter with more fabric over the shoulders.
You can also wear this vest inside-out, bring the total number of ways to wear this item up to four.
Some find the felt itchy on naked skin, so many of our customers wear this over something else.
This is not a vegan product, the felt is made from real sheep's wool.
